Toronto, Canada, December 23, 2015 – In the past, many plug-ins were developed using an old interface called NPAPI (Netscape Plugin Application Programming Interface) and many websites still use it. Google permanently removed NPAPI support from Chrome which affected all NPAPI based extensions.
