VXG and the changing cloud video surveillance market

Since I first heard Steve Jobs say, "Innovation is the ability to see change as an opportunity - not a threat", his words truly resonated with me both personally and professionally.

VXG and the changing cloud video surveillance market

Working at a software company in the cloud video surveillance industry during this COVID-19 pandemic, those words resonate more with me today than they ever have before. Over the past 2 months, I have seen and heard so many innovative ideas to help people adjust and adapt to new norms in this industry. An industry committed to helping people find some direction through an adapting world of personal and professional needs.

A friend of mine, who is a physiotherapist, called me recently wondering if he could connect AI to his clients' webcams to do a pre-assessment of their posture and stretching. I thought it was a great idea to keep his business viable and his customers served as best as possible during these difficult times. People are dedicated to their family, friends and clients just as I am, as we all are, and just as we all need to be. (And yes, Steve, there are plenty more ideas we can work on.)

With working from home or satellite locations being the new norm in many industries across the globe, companies and individuals are looking to customize their video needs as well as finding ways to optimize their staff production and potential. VPN's, Zoom webinars, HR video calls, broadcasted fitness sessions and screenshared sales calls are just a few examples of what are becoming everyday practices in our professional and personal worlds. I am excited to see the new wave of businesses that are building fantastic products to help make everyone comfortable while working from home. At VXG, we want to help lead and support this product innovation.

Here at VXG (well, currently from our individual home offices!), we are working on exciting ideas to help make cloud video streaming easy to use and understandable for you. We want to work with the economic and social maps of our future; the entrepreneurs, companies and individuals who are looking to move into the video streaming space that is the new norm. Let's not stop talking to each-other, let's not stop seeing each-other. That would be our greatest threat. Let's find ways to make it work safely, securely and as simply as possible.

Drop us a line and let us know how we can help.
