Eneo Camera: Default IP, Username, Password, Port
Eneo IP cameras offer a versatile solution for professionals and enthusiasts alike, featuring intelligent network capabilities and streamlined installation. Understanding the out-of-box defaults — including IP addressing, login credentials, and port configuration — is essential for initial setup, troubleshooting, and ensuring secure operation. This comprehensive guide walks you through each of these defaults and addresses common questions users encounter.
Default IP Address
By default, Eneo cameras use DHCP to automatically obtain an IP address from the network. If no DHCP server is present, many models revert to a known fallback address — most notably 192.168.1.10 — to enable direct access. It’s best to check your network’s DHCP assignments or scan the subnet to locate the device on first use.
Default Username
The standard admin username expected by most Eneo cameras is admin. This default login is consistent across models for initial access and should be replaced with a custom user account as part of setup.
Default Password
Similar to the username, the default password is typically admin as well. This is intended solely for the first login, and users are strongly encouraged to update it immediately to maintain security.
Default Port
Eneo cameras support streaming via RTSP, typically over port 554. This is the standard protocol and port used when accessing live video streams remotely. For general web-based access or configuration, they use standard HTTP ports, often port 80, unless explicitly changed.
