Tiandy Camera: Default IP, Username, Password, Port
Tiandy is a global provider of professional surveillance solutions, offering a range of IP cameras, NVRs, and video management systems. Whether you're installing a Tiandy camera for the first time or troubleshooting an existing system, accessing the device via its login interface is an essential step. To do this, you need the default network credentials — IP address, username, password, and port.
This article provides a comprehensive overview of the default login settings for Tiandy cameras and NVRs, including troubleshooting tips and common questions.
Default IP Address
The default IP address for most Tiandy IP cameras is:
192.168.1.2
This static IP address allows you to directly access the camera’s web interface through a browser or configuration tool when connected to the same local area network.
Important notes:
- If the camera is connected to a router with DHCP enabled, the IP address may change automatically.
- To find the current IP, use the Tiandy Device Manager software. It scans the local network and lists all Tiandy devices, along with their IP addresses and firmware versions.
Default Username
The default username for Tiandy cameras and recorders is:
admin
This account has full administrative privileges and is required for configuring video settings, networking, users, storage, and firmware updates.
Default Password
The default password is typically one of the following:
- admin
- 123456
- Or empty (blank)
Note:
- For newer firmware versions, Tiandy enforces password creation on first login.
- If the default credentials do not work, it is possible that the password was changed during the initial setup.
- For security reasons, it is highly recommended to change the default password after the first login.
Default Port
Tiandy devices use multiple ports for different services. Here are the most commonly used default ports:
| Function | Default Port |
|---|---|
| HTTP (Web Access) | 80 |
| RTSP (Streaming) | 554 |
| HTTPS | 443 |
| TCP Port | 34567 |
To access the camera via a browser, use:
http://192.168.1.2
Or if the HTTP port has been changed:
http://192.168.1.2:PORT
If you are configuring remote access, you may need to forward these ports in your router settings.
