TVT Camera: Default IP, Username, Password, Port

When installing or configuring a TVT security camera or DVR/NVR system, accessing the device through its login interface is the first step. This process requires knowledge of the default network settings, including the default IP address, username, password, and communication port. Understanding these default credentials is essential for first-time setup, troubleshooting, or resetting the device to factory settings.

This guide will walk you through the default login details required to access your TVT camera or recorder.

Default IP Address

The default IP address for TVT IP cameras and DVR/NVR systems is usually:

192.168.1.10

This IP address allows you to access the camera’s web interface through a browser or configuration tool when connected to the same local network.

Note: If this IP does not work, the device may be set to DHCP (automatically assigned by the router). You can use TVT's IPTool utility to detect the current IP address of your camera or NVR.

Default Username

The default username for TVT devices is typically:

admin

This is the superuser account with full access to the camera or recorder's settings and configuration options.

Default Password

The default password is either blank or:

123456

  • In many models, the default password field is left empty ("") during the first login.
  • Some firmware versions use 123456 as the initial password.
  • For newer devices, you may be prompted to create a new password during the initial setup.

If the password has been changed and forgotten, you may need to perform a reset using the physical reset button on the camera or contact TVT technical support.

Default Port

The default ports for accessing TVT cameras and recorders include:

  • HTTP Port (Web Access): 80
  • RTSP Port (Streaming): 554
  • Server Port (Mobile App / Client Software): 34567

These ports are critical for remote access and integrating with third-party applications like mobile apps (e.g., SuperLive Plus), VMS, or NVRs.

If you're accessing your camera through a web browser, type:

http://192.168.1.10

If the HTTP port has been changed from 80 to another value, you'll need to specify it:

http://192.168.1.10:port_number
