Avtech Camera: Default IP, Username, Password, Port
Avtech cameras are widely used in both residential and commercial security systems thanks to their reliability, simple setup, and good image quality. Like most CCTV devices, Avtech IP cameras and DVRs come with preset login details and network settings that allow quick access during initial installation. Understanding these default values helps users connect the camera to a local network, configure viewing software, and secure the device by changing the credentials afterward.
Default IP Address
Avtech cameras typically use 192.168.0.10 as their default IP address. This address allows the device to connect to a local network where you can access it through a web browser or Avtech’s management software. To log in, your computer should be on the same subnet (for example, 192.168.0.x). If the camera is not detected, users can reset it to factory settings and reconnect using this default IP.
Default Username
The default username for most Avtech cameras and DVRs is admin. This account has full access to all device features, including video settings, motion detection, and network configurations. It is strongly recommended to change the default username after setup to prevent unauthorized access.
Default Password
Avtech cameras usually ship with the default password admin or no password at all (blank). When a camera is accessed for the first time, the system may prompt the user to create a new, more secure password. This step is important to protect the camera from potential intrusions, especially if it is connected to the internet.
Default Port
The default port for Avtech devices is 80, which is used for HTTP access through a web browser. Some models may also use port 554 for RTSP streaming or port 34567 for client software connections. If you plan to view your camera remotely, you can change these ports to reduce conflicts and improve security.
