HeroSpeed Camera: Default IP, Username, Password, Port
HeroSpeed is a popular manufacturer of security cameras and video management systems, widely used in both small businesses and large-scale surveillance projects. Their cameras are designed to be simple to install and easy to integrate with different NVRs and VMS platforms. Like most IP-based cameras, HeroSpeed devices ship with factory-default network settings and login details, which allow users to access the camera during initial setup. Knowing these defaults can help you get connected quickly and begin configuring the system to suit your needs.
Default IP Address
By default, HeroSpeed cameras are configured with the IP address 192.168.1.10. This fixed address makes it possible to connect directly to the camera for the first time. If your local network is running on a different subnet, you may need to temporarily change your computer’s IP address to match, or use a device search tool to locate the camera.
Default Username
The default username for HeroSpeed cameras is admin. This account has full administrator privileges, giving you access to both video streams and configuration settings.
Default Password
The default password is usually 123456. Since this is a widely known password, it is strongly recommended to change it immediately after logging in for the first time. Using a strong and unique password reduces the risk of unauthorized access.
Default Port
HeroSpeed cameras generally use port 80 for HTTP access. In addition, RTSP streams are often available on port 554 and ONVIF services may be accessed through port 8899. For remote access setups, these ports can be changed inside the camera’s network configuration menu if required.
