SecurityTronix Camera: Default IP, Username, Password, Port
SecurityTronix cameras are widely used in professional and residential surveillance systems due to their reliability and compatibility with modern network video recorders (NVRs). When installing or resetting a SecurityTronix camera, many users need to know the default network and login details to gain initial access. These default settings make setup easier, but for security reasons, they should be changed after the first login.
Default IP Address
Most SecurityTronix cameras are shipped with the default IP address set to 192.168.1.108. If the camera does not appear on your network, it may be necessary to use the manufacturer’s IP search tool or a standard network scanner to detect the assigned address. Keep in mind that the camera should be connected to the same local network as your computer during the initial setup.
Default Username
The default username for SecurityTronix cameras is usually admin. This account grants full access to system configuration, live view, and device management. Always create additional user accounts with limited permissions if multiple people will access the camera system.
Default Password
The default password for SecurityTronix cameras is 12345 or sometimes left blank on older models. If you are setting up a newer camera, you may be prompted to create a custom password during the first login. Since default passwords are well known, it is strongly recommended to change them immediately after setup to prevent unauthorized access.
Default Port
The standard port for SecurityTronix cameras is 8000 for device communication. For web browser access, the default HTTP port is typically 80. If you plan to access your cameras remotely, you may need to configure port forwarding on your router. For security, many users change these ports to non-standard values to reduce exposure to potential cyberattacks.
