SONITROL Camera: Default IP, Username, Password, Port
SONITROL cameras are widely used in security systems because of their strong integration with intrusion detection and video monitoring. Like most network cameras, they come with default login details that allow users or installers to access the system for the first time. Understanding these factory settings is important if you are setting up the camera or troubleshooting access issues.
Default IP Address
Most SONITROL cameras ship with a preset IP address so they can be discovered on a network during installation. In many cases, this address is set to 192.168.1.168 or a similar private IP range. Installers can change this address to match the local network structure once the camera is connected.
Default Username
The default username for SONITROL cameras is often set to admin. This gives the installer full access to the camera’s configuration settings, including video quality, network setup, and recording preferences.
Default Password
By default, the password is typically 12345 or left blank, depending on the model. For security reasons, it is strongly recommended to change this immediately after installation. Leaving the default password in place exposes the system to unauthorized access.
Default Port
SONITROL cameras generally operate over port 80, which is the standard port for HTTP connections. In some cases, depending on the system configuration, port 554 may also be used for RTSP streaming. Installers can reconfigure these ports to fit specific network requirements.
