Turing Camera: Default IP, Username, Password, Port
Turing cameras are modern surveillance devices designed to deliver high-quality video monitoring for both residential and commercial environments. They come with advanced AI features, remote management capabilities, and secure cloud integration. However, to get them up and running, it is important to know the default network settings such as the IP address, username, password, and port. These details allow users to access the camera’s interface for the first time, configure settings, and ensure smooth operation.
Default IP Address
Most Turing cameras are set to automatically obtain an IP address through DHCP, which means your router assigns the camera an available address. However, if the camera does not connect through DHCP, the fallback default IP is usually 192.168.1.108. This address can be entered into a web browser to reach the camera’s login page, provided your computer is on the same network segment.
Default Username
The default username for Turing cameras is typically admin. This account gives full access to the system and is required for the first login. It is highly recommended to change or create additional user accounts to improve security once the initial setup is complete.
Default Password
For security reasons, Turing cameras do not usually come with a universal static password. In many cases, the default password may be left blank, or the system may prompt the user to create a new one during the initial setup. Some models use a unique password printed on the camera’s label or generated by the manufacturer. Always replace it with a strong, custom password to prevent unauthorized access.
Default Port
The default HTTP port for Turing cameras is usually 80, which allows access via a web browser. Some models may also use port 554 for RTSP streaming and port 8000 for additional management functions. These ports can be customized in the camera’s network settings if needed, especially when setting up remote access through port forwarding.
