Default Login Credentials for Ezviz Cameras

Ezviz cameras are widely used in home and business surveillance as they are very easy to use, have a mobile app, and work reliably. No matter what kind of Ezviz IP camera or NVR you have, with everything from wired to wireless to wifi cameras there will be default network and login details that help you get up and running in no time. Here we look at all the default login and network details.

Default IP Address

Not all Ezviz cameras show their IP address at first boot but you can usually find the default IP address by connecting them to your router with an ethernet cable and browsing the list of devices it is connected to or by using Ezviz configuration tools. Where a static IP address is provided it is often 192.168.1.64. We recommend setting a static IP address after the initial login for a stable connection and easy remote access.

Default Username

Most Ezviz IP cameras and NVRs will have a default username of admin. This grants the user complete access to any video streams, configuration, and device options. On some of the later Ezviz models, you will need to create a new username at initial setup inside the Ezviz app or website. Use a good username and do not leave "admin" as the active account.

Default Password

Some previous versions of Ezviz camera use their default password or no password default. New Ezviz camera should set a password on first activation on Ezviz App or via EZTools. If you cannot login to camera you should consider resetting camera to default, and then set a new password. Make sure to use a complex combination of symbols, numbers and letters in such a way it will be difficult to do non-brute-force guessing.

Default Port

The camera's default port is 80, which is the port used to access it with the browser. Other ports include 554 for video streaming over RTSP, 8000 for communication, 443 for HTTPS, and the remaining ports are for others to connect to the camera remotely. If you want to access it remotely or port forward it, you should consider changing the default ports.
