Besder Camera: Default IP, Username, Password, Port
Besder cameras are widely used for home and small business surveillance due to their affordability, decent image quality, and compatibility with various NVR systems. Whether you’re installing a new camera or reconnecting one that’s been reset, knowing its default network configuration is the first step to successful setup. These details help users access the camera’s interface, view live footage, and configure network or security settings.
Default IP Address
The default IP address for most Besder IP cameras is 192.168.1.10. This allows users to access the camera through a browser or software such as CMS or VMS. To connect, ensure your computer or NVR is on the same network segment, typically 192.168.1.xxx. If the camera doesn’t appear at that address, it might be using DHCP, meaning it automatically receives an IP from your router. In that case, you can locate it using the “Device Search” or “IP Camera Tool” provided with the camera.
Default Username
The default username for Besder cameras is usually admin. This account grants full administrative access, including video settings, motion detection, and remote viewing configuration. For security reasons, it’s strongly recommended to change the default username or at least the password after the first login to prevent unauthorized access.
Default Password
The default password for Besder cameras varies by model. On older models, the password is admin or sometimes left blank (no password). Newer versions often prompt users to set a new password during initial setup, especially when accessed through the mobile app. If you forget the password, you can reset the camera by pressing and holding the reset button for about 10 seconds while the device is powered on. After the reset, the default credentials will be restored.
Default Port
Besder cameras generally use 80 for HTTP access, 554 for RTSP streaming, and 8899 or 34567 for data transmission through software or mobile apps. These ports allow the camera to communicate with NVRs and remote viewing applications. If you want to access your camera from outside your local network, you’ll need to forward the appropriate ports in your router’s settings. For better protection, it’s advisable to change the default ports and enable encryption if your camera supports it.
