EseeCloud Camera Login: Default IP, Username, Password, Port

EseeCloud cameras are widely used in affordable home and small business surveillance systems. These devices often come bundled with NVR kits or standalone WiFi cameras designed for quick installation and cloud-based remote viewing. Instead of relying only on local network configuration, EseeCloud cameras typically connect to a cloud service that allows users to watch live video through mobile apps or desktop software. Even though cloud access is the main method of monitoring, many users still need to understand the default network settings when troubleshooting, adding cameras to a router, or connecting to a local interface. Knowing the default IP address, username, password, and ports can help installers and everyday users manage these cameras more effectively.

Default IP

Most EseeCloud cameras use DHCP by default. This means the camera automatically receives an IP address from the router once it connects to the network. In typical home networks this results in an address in the 192.168.0.x or 192.168.1.x range depending on the router configuration.

Unlike traditional enterprise cameras, EseeCloud devices often do not rely on a fixed factory IP address. Instead they prioritize automatic discovery through the mobile app or NVR system. However, some models may fall back to a static address such as 192.168.1.10 or 192.168.1.100 if DHCP is unavailable.

To find the camera IP address, users commonly:

  • check the connected device list in the router
  • use an IP scanning tool on the local network
  • view device information inside the EseeCloud application

Once the camera IP is known, it may be possible to access the device through a browser or configuration software depending on the specific model.

Default Username

EseeCloud cameras normally include a simple administrator account for initial setup. In many devices the default username is admin. This account provides full control over camera configuration including network settings, video resolution, recording modes, and firmware updates.

Some cameras that are paired directly with an NVR or mobile app may hide the local login interface, meaning the user rarely interacts with the username directly. In those cases authentication happens through the cloud account associated with the EseeCloud app.

If the web interface is enabled, the typical login username remains admin unless it has been changed by the user.

Default Password

The default password on many EseeCloud cameras is also admin. Some models ship with a blank password or require creating a password during the first setup process. Because these cameras are frequently connected to the internet through cloud services, changing the default password immediately after installation is strongly recommended.

Typical default combinations include:

  • Username: admin
  • Password: admin

or

  • Username: admin
  • Password: (blank)

After the first login, users should create a stronger password to prevent unauthorized access. Many modern firmware versions now require a password change during activation to improve security.

Default Port

EseeCloud cameras support several network ports used for web access, video streaming, and communication with cloud servers. The default HTTP web interface port is usually 80, which allows the camera to be accessed through a browser using its IP address.

Other commonly used ports include:

  • HTTP web access - 80
  • RTSP video streaming - 554
  • Cloud communication ports - dynamic depending on firmware

In many cases users do not need to configure port forwarding because the camera communicates outward to the EseeCloud servers. This design simplifies remote access and reduces the need for complex router settings.

FAQs

Most EseeCloud cameras obtain an IP address automatically through DHCP from the router. This usually results in an address within the 192.168.x.x range.
The default username is typically admin. Some devices connected through the mobile app may hide the local login interface.
Many cameras use admin as the default password or leave the password blank. Newer firmware may require creating a password during setup.
The default HTTP port is usually 80. Some devices also support RTSP streaming on port 554.
You can check the router device list, scan the network using an IP scanner, or view the device information inside the EseeCloud application.
Usually not. Most cameras connect to the cloud service automatically and allow remote viewing without manual router configuration.
Some models allow local network access or RTSP streaming, but many features such as remote viewing and alerts depend on the EseeCloud platform.
