JOOAN Camera: Default IP, Username, Password, Port
JOOAN is a well-known brand in the video surveillance segment, offering cost-effective yet reliable IP cameras and NVR systems for home and business use. Like many security brands, JOOAN devices come with preset login credentials and network settings to simplify the initial configuration process. Knowing these default parameters is essential when setting up a new camera or restoring access after a reset.
Default IP Address
JOOAN IP cameras typically use the default IP address 192.168.1.10. This allows users to connect directly to the camera from a computer within the same local network. If your router uses a different subnet, the camera may not appear automatically; in such cases, JOOAN’s configuration tool or NVR interface can help locate and reassign the correct IP address.
Default Username
The default username for most JOOAN devices is admin. This is a universal setting across many JOOAN IP cameras and DVR/NVR recorders. Changing this username after the first login is strongly recommended to enhance security and prevent unauthorized access.
Default Password
JOOAN cameras are shipped with the default password admin or, in some models, a blank password field. During the first configuration, the system usually requires you to create a new, more secure password. If you reset your device, these defaults will be restored, allowing you to re-enter the setup interface.
Default Port
By default, JOOAN cameras communicate via port 80 for HTTP connections. Additional ports such as 554 (RTSP) and 8000 (media/SDK) may also be used depending on the model and connection method. Port forwarding may be required if you intend to access your JOOAN camera remotely over the internet.
